To get started I’ve outlined the general steps involved in working together on a business coaching arrangement.
Get in touch via my contact form and let me know what the main concerns are in your business right now.
I’ll contact you by phone for a 15-minute initial chat to start getting a feel of our fit and if we’ll work well together.
This can be face-to-face or by video conference and lasts about 90 minutes. That’ll give you a feel for what my business coaching style is like. You’ll be able to ask questions, and just as importantly, I’ll be able to ask questions.
You’ll get an understanding of what I do and why it’s been so successful with my clients over the past years. You’ll already be learning a lot of things during this session and will undoubtedly have
lots of Blinding Flashes of the Obvious (BFOs). At the end of the session, we’ll both have a more concrete understanding of whether we’ll work well together.
Don’t worry, the process is easy, transparent and motivating, regardless of the final decision. We either get you started on a program that’s right for you or we don’t. Simple.
We have a simple, straightforward coaching agreement that doesn’t lock you in. The only thing we’ll lock in is your preferred ongoing coaching day and time. Coaching can be weekly or fortnightly (most popular). We’ll decide together what business coaching program is best suited for you based on your unique circumstances and ambitions. You’ll walk away with your first goal sheet to achieve by the next coaching session!
This is where the small shifts we implement will create massive change. Business coaching covers everything you need: planning, sales, marketing, human resources, team building, leadership, financials and more. As long as it’s relevant to you and your business achieving success–we’ll include it.
We’ll evaluate the results against the agreed goals and decide on the next plan of attack every quarter.
A: Absolutely. Honestly, I have your best interests at heart. So, if you need to include your business partners, life partners or employees, let’s do it. I want you to get the most out of coaching.
A: This is your business we’re talking about. Your livelihood. Without strategic goals, a blueprint for success and an accountability partner, you’re limiting your potential. Ask yourself if Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, Adam Scott or Roger Federer second guess if their high-performance coach is worth it.
A: Business coaching works just like sports coaching, but you need to do your part and apply yourself. No matter how good the business coach may be, if the coaching client doesn’t do anything, it’ll never work.
The reverse is true, as well.
If you have a great business coach by your side (that’s me) and you’re consistently doing the work required–success is almost inevitable.
A: Absolutely! Just like top athletes have coaches, so should successful business owners.
It’s a misconception that you should wait until your business is in trouble before getting a business coach. If you’re already a successful business owner, having a coach by your side can ensure you remain successful. And that you can build the lifestyle that matches your business success.
A: It’s unlikely, but anything is possible. I don’t use business coaching contracts– just simple agreements. The agreement states that either party can walk away by giving one month’s notice. Simple.
